PARTOUT AILLEURS 2006-2007

In the Autumn of 2006, Sylvain Poirier took up the challenge of creating a three-to-eight minute solo choreographic sequence each week. These segments were set in various scenes of his daily life, with locations that varied according to the seasons. Each was captured on video by Yves St. Pierre and made available on the web.
Completed the following fall, Partout Aillieurs now catalogs a Sylvain’s year-long development of a dance vocabulary, totaling sixty segments that reflect the both the continuity and change that have occurred in the process.
